Since the launch of Microsoft's latest operating system - Windows 10, the company received plenty of criticism regarding its privacy issues. Well-hidden spying functions collect the data which should stay private, from browsing experience to Wi-Fi password, and syncs it among Microsoft's servers. For this reason, third-party programs like Privacy Protector for Windows 10 were created.
With its help, you can prevent other people or third-parties from accessing your personal data. The app's main window is divided into 3 screens: Privacy, Uninstall Metro Apps, and Tools. Configuring the program's settings require a certain level of knowledge when it comes to handling system files on your Windows PC.
You can use this utility to disable automatic driver update notifications, Bing search, spying tasks, Cortana service, etc. The program also enables you to completely remove default apps, such as Bing, Camera, Mail, Calendar, Phone Companion, etc.
My only issue with this app is that it doesn't let you apply the changes made in the Privacy window while using the trial version of the program. You can't be 100% it works. Still, browsing the web I found out that the application has many good reviews and it's effective. So, buying this program doesn't seem like a bad idea, especially if you're the kind of user who values privacy.
A security suite that protects the integrity and the privacy of your data.
